Darryl & Heidi Townsend

Owners

Darryl and Heidi Townsend have been a team since they were married in 1990 at Camp Lejeune, Marine Corps base in North Carolina. They live, raise their children, and operate Rock Coast Plumbing and Heating in beautiful Mid Coast Maine.

 Darryl is a college graduate from the University of Maine at Farmington. During college, he studied community health education and played Soccer on the UMF Men‘s Team. In 1989 he received his Bachelor’s degree in Community Health & Secondary Science. During college, Darryl worked part-time with a close friend in the Plumbing and Heating field, who began his career in plumbing and heating. Darryl is a United States Marine and was in the first Persian Gulf War in 1990. In 1995 Darryl & Heidi Townsend began their Plumbing & Heating company Townsend Plumbing. In 1998 they established Rock Coast Plumbing and Heating, forming loyal and respectful relationships with customers and contractors from Thomaston to Monhegan Island and surrounding communities.
